Doni Landefeld, Ph.D.
Dr. Landefeld grew up in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. With a background in executive college administration, she began her career in Student Services and worked her way up to Academic/Executive Dean. Leading a team of more than 50 faculty members and administrative staff, Doni used coaching techniques before the profession of coaching skyrocketed to the booming industry it is today. Since moving to Florida in 2004, she completed a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from Walden University and created Metamorphosis Coaching to help business professionals transform their leadership skills. As a speaker, trainer, and coach, she loves helping her clients achieve their potential through focused strategy. Dr. Landefeld also holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Temple University and a B.S. in Music Education and double-bass performer’s certificate from the Pennsylvania State University, main campus. She completed training from the College of Executive Coaching and works with her own personal coach to stay sharp.
Doni performs regularly as a semi-professional musician. She plays double bass with the Gulf Coast Symphony in more than a dozen performances per season and has served as the Symphony’s Board President since 2011. Doni is a member of the Education Committee of the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce and a founding member and rotating Chair for Taste of the Cape. She’s been married to Nathan, her pediatrician husband of 20 years and is proud mom to her teenage son Teddy, an accomplished pianist and member of the Caloosa Coast rowing team.
