Jazz Collective Youth Ensemble Music Program

This school year, the Gulf Coast Symphony is starting the very first Jazz Collective Youth Ensemble! This full jazz band is for students in grades 8-12 with at least 2 full years of experience on their instrument. They must know their major scales and be able to read music. There are no auditions for necessary to participate in this ensemble.

Requirements to register/participate: Must be able to read music. Must know major scales. Must have at least two years experience on their instrument.
Location: Music & Arts Community Center (MACC), 13411 Shire Ln, Fort Myers.
Time: Saturdays from 10:00 AM to Noon, beginning August 27.
Session 1: August 27 to December 17; Session 2: January 14 to May 20 
Tuition: $200.00 per semester. Income based scholarships are available.
Registration Fee: $50
