Priscila Navarro was born in Huanuco, Peru. She started her piano studies at the age of nine at the National Conservatory of Music of Peru under the guidance of Lydia Hung. She moved to the United States and enrolled at Florida Gulf Coast University at the age of 16. There she received the Williams, Steinway Society and Eva Gomez scholarships, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the Bower School of Music where she was a student of Michael Baron.

Priscila was the winner of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Piano Competitions for both solo and piano duets for the State of Florida and the winner of the Regional Competitions, competing against the winners of nine states (2011). She is also the winner of the Florida Music Teachers Association Gray Perry and Byrd Piano Competitions, which honor the finest undergraduate and finest two-piano ensemble in the state of Florida respectively. She was awarded a full scholarship to study at the prestigious Tanglewood Music Festival in Massachusetts. In 2011 she won the South American Chopin Competition in which she competed against all eligible pianists up to the age of 30. As part of her prize, she studied for two weeks at the Warsaw Conservatory in Poland and was presented in solo recital in Warsaw.

As the winner of the International Chopin Competition of Texas, Priscila made her Carnegie Hall solo recital debut in 2013. Her latest major international competition successes include first prize at the International Beethoven Sonata Piano Competition (2013), the International Liszt-Garrison Competition (2014), and the Artist Series of Sarasota Piano Competition (2015). In 2018 Priscila was a semi-finalist at the Gina Bachauer Competition. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance under the tutelage of Santiago Rodriguez at the University of Miami Frost School of Music.
