Reece grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and performed as lead trumpet in marching,
concert, and jazz band in junior high and high school. He also performed in a rock band
as a singer, and was a DJ at a college radio station. Reece has always held eclectic
musical tastes, with a passion for live music. His enthusiasm is now channeled to
support the Gulf Coast Symphony, having joined the Board of Directors in 2018.
Reece is a marketing strategist with extensive integrated event marketing and sales
experience throughout his career. He is currently Chief Strategy & Growth Officer for
TeleSpecialists, a national telemedicine service provider based in Fort Myers.
Reece’s previous experience includes brand management roles for M&M/MARS, Uncle
Ben’s and Orville Redenbacher’s, strategic marketing for motorsports sponsorship of
the IndyCar Series, and baseball marketing strategy for Majestic, the official uniform
provider for Major League Baseball. Through these experiences, he has been
successful building brand equity and awareness, while leveraging omnichannel
campaigns to drive participation and sales.
Reece holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of
Management, and a BSBA in Marketing from Creighton University. Reece and his wife
Beth enjoy hiking, kayaking, photography, and live music.
