It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and once again, we’ve got a magical mix of festive favorites for this holiday season!
This December, join us at the MACC (Music & Arts Community Center) for the Southwest Florida Theatre Company’s new Christmas musical, the Astralis Chamber Ensemble, Whitney Grace’s Christmas cabaret, two very special youth concerts, and the Gulf Coast Jazz Collective’s tribute to holiday classics.
The Gulf Coast Symphony orchestra will also be at Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall for its annual seasonal spectacular, Deck the Halls, on Dec. 13, and for not two but THREE performances of The Nutcracker, Dec. 20-21, with the Gulfshore Ballet.
Nov. 19 – Dec. 6 | Once Upon a Christmastime
Music & Arts Community Center
The Southwest Florida Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Once Upon a Christmastime. Inspired by Grimms’ fairy tales and the classic short story, “The Gift of the Magi,” this charming new holiday musical celebrates the spirit of the season with familiar Christmas songs and a heartwarming message about the true meaning of giving.
Dec. 11 | Enchanted Noel
7 pm at the Music & Arts Community Center
The MACC presents Enchanted Noel with the Astralis Chamber Ensemble, a magical concert of holiday favorites, including “Greensleeves” and “Cantique de Noel,” classical works by Bach and Dussek, and contemporary selections inspired by the spirit of the season. Featuring Angela Massey (flute), Laura Usiskin (cello) and Isabel Cardenes (harp).
Dec. 12 | Merry Christmas, Dahhling!
6 pm & 8 pm at the Music & Arts Community Center
Southwest Florida star Whitney Grace lights up the stage with Merry Christmas, Dahhling! – a Christmas cabaret in Whitney’s glamorous signature style, featuring jazzy holiday favorites, timeless standards, and more.
Dec. 13 | Deck the Halls
7 pm at Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall at FSW
The Gulf Coast Symphony’s annual Deck the Halls extravaganza returns to the stage of Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall to delight audiences of all ages! A spectacular evening of sights and sounds, the Gulf Coast Symphony orchestra will be joined by featured guest performers, including aerial violinist Janice Martin, the Kellyn Celtic Arts Irish Dancers, and maybe even Santa Claus himself!
Dec. 15 | Youth Jazz Ensemble Concert
7 pm at the Music & Arts Community Center
FREE ADMISSION! Join us for an evening of performances from the Gulf Coast Youth Jazz Ensembles! The evening begins with the middle school ensemble, followed by the high school ensemble, with both programs featuring a variety of jazz styles, as well as some seasonal selections.

Dec. 18 | Jazz at the MACC: A Charlie Brown Christmas & Holiday Classics Part II
7 pm at the Music & Arts Community Center
The Gulf Coast Jazz Collective returns for A Charlie Brown Christmas & Holiday Classics Part II, featuring a selection of Vince Guaraldi’s iconic compositions from “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” along with a variety of festive holiday favorites, and special guest performers.

The Gulf Coast Symphony and Gulfshore Ballet reunite for a beloved Southwest Florida holiday tradition, Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker. Due to popular demand, a third twilight performance time has been added for Sunday, Dec. 21.
