Heat Latin Jazz Band returns to the Music & Arts Community Center (MACC) on Aug. 29 with two sizzling evening performances at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

This high-energy six-piece ensemble has been a Fort Myers favorite for nearly a decade, and is well known for delivering the vibrant sounds of authentic Latin grooves and Afro-Cuban jazz, with soaring horns and irresistible percussion that keep audiences moving.

Founded by local Southwest Florida music educator Keith Doxie and led by trumpeter Diego Azcuy, the band blends technical skill with pure musical joy, creating a unique concert experience that’s as exciting to watch as it is to dance to – and dancing is encouraged!
