On Saturday, Jan. 10, at 6 and 8:30 p.m., the Music & Arts Community Center (MACC) presents an electrifying evening of Latin Jazz with Tito Puente Jr. and Nestor Torres. Dancing is welcome and encouraged!
Tito Puente Jr. continues his father’s legendary musical legacy, captivating audiences worldwide with the same vibrant, high-voltage performances that defined the Puente name. An international favorite, he has performed hundreds of shows and appeared in major television tributes and orchestral engagements, including performances with the Dallas, San Antonio, Colorado and National Symphony Orchestras.
Nestor Torres is a Grammy-nominated, Latin Grammy–winning Puerto Rican flautist whose genre-blending style spans Latin jazz, classical, pop, and straight-ahead jazz. He has released 18 albums and collaborated with luminaries such as Herbie Hancock, Tito Puente, Gloria Estefan and Arturo Sandoval, and has performed with major symphony orchestras worldwide.
