Shannon Arnold
Artistic Director, Fort Myers Symphonic Mastersingers
In addition to her position with the Mastersingers, Shannon Arnold is also the music director at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in North Fort Myers, Florida. Prior to moving to Lee County, Shannon received her Masters degree in Choral Conducting at Temple University with Paul Rardin, Mitos Andaya Hart, and Rollo Dilworth. After her first year, she was awarded the Robert Page Conducting Scholarship. Before attending Temple University, Shannon started her professional teaching career at Fort Pierce Central High School in the Saint Lucie County Public Schools in Fort Pierce, Florida. In her time at FPC, her choirs received Superior Ratings at both District and State Choral MPA. Shannon received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Penn State University. She studied choral conducting with Dr. Christopher Kiver and Dr. Lynn Drafall. Shannon also studied piano privately with Dr. Steven Herbert Smith.
