Bella Gutshtein

Bella Gutshtein has been making music since the age of six. She was born In St. Petersburg, Russia where she received a master’s degree in music performance, vocal coaching and teaching. Since she moved to Naples in 2002 she has been a concert pianist with Artis Naples and has performed at the Sypert and Wang Series yearly. She is an educator and has been teaching music performance and appreciation both privately and in school settings for most of her career. Bella is also a founder and Executive Director of the Russian Cultural Center of Naples whose mission is to bring the best of the Russian music and arts heritage to the community. She is also a founder and Artistic Director of Estero Concert Series, through which she creates innovative, multidimensional chamber music and art programs. Programs, which are based around a historical moment, have included the critically acclaimed U.N. Holocaust Remembrance Program and French and Russian Music and Poetry. In these and many others of her programs, Bella has included children as active participants, allowing them to experience performing alongside professional musicians. Bella strongly believes that there is an artist in every child (of all ages) and has dedicated herself to helping him/her emerge.
