Claire Liparulo

Claire Liparulo, known locally and internationally as the front woman for reggae/soul/ska band, The Freecoasters, has been performing professionally since the age of 16.  Although based in Southwest Florida, she travels all over the US. Performing on iconic stages including Levitt Pavilion, The Brooklyn Bowl, Reggie’s, Blueberry Hill, The Black Cat, and more. She is a versatile and accomplished vocalist and songwriter.  She has completed multiple national tours with her band, The Freecoasters, written and recorded 3 full-length albums, and performed on stage with international acts such as The Slackers, The Aggrolites, Greg Lee of acclaimed ska act, Hepcat, and has opened for acts including The Toasters, The Skints, Monty Neysmith of Symarip, The Pietasters, and more.

She has shared the stage with Grammy-winning country music artists and has been invited back to Island Hopper Songwriter Fest for the past 3 years.  Claire is the creator and producer of The High Lonesome Sound Songwriter Round, which will be 2 years old this September.

As a songwriter, Claire employs a poetic style, painting vivid landscapes. As a performer and front-person, she is an engaging storyteller with sincere authenticity, contagious charisma, and a unique ability to connect with almost any audience.

Her intensely heartfelt debut solo record, The Cost, came out in April 2023 and can be purchased or streamed anywhere digital music is available.
