E. Mani Cadet

E. Mani Cadet was born in Miami, Florida, but was raised in Jean-Rebel, Haiti. Where he simmered in the rich tradition of his family’s Haitian culture and that his passion for music, and acting was ignited. “Mani” is a seasoned performer having achieved great acclaim in opera, musical theater and as a concert entertainer. Mr. Cadet has performed on such world-renowned stages as the Lyric Opera of Chicago, New York City Opera, Florida Grand Opera, The Orlando Shakespeare Theatre, The Bob Carr Center For Performing Arts, Mad Cow Theatre, Broadway and Off- Broadway tours and productions, Some of Mani’s beloved roles include: “Tamino” in The Magic Flute, “Don Jose” in Carmen, “Agwe” from Once on This Island, “Old Deuteronomy” in CATS, and “Gitlow Judson” in Purlie. Most recently Mani performed in a productions of Little Shop of Horrors as the “The Voice of Audrey II”, “W.E.B. Dubois” in Knock me a Kiss by Charles Smith, “The Grandfather” in Diamond, and the North Wind at Winter Park Playhouse, and “King Amleth” in Gertrude and Claudius at The Orlando Shakespeare Theatre. Mani’s upcoming performance schedule includes: “Ken Page Character” in a production of Ain’t Misbehavin’, and a concert of African-American Spirituals sung by Mr. Cadet entitled Witness, A Spiritual Journey.
