Emmett O’Hanlon

Emmett O’Hanlon was born in New York to Irish parents, and after graduation from The Juilliard School with a Master of Music degree, set out on a blazing career as a classically- trained baritone, opera performer and actor. Emmett’s role as Principal Vocalist with Celtic Thunder took him to hundreds of cities in the U.S., Canada and Australia. On the classical side of his performance life, Emmett has won acclaim for major roles with the Irish National Opera, Semperoper Dresden, and Austin Opera, with upcoming engagements at the Metropolitan Opera and LA Opera. His concert appearances include work with The New York Philharmonic, the New World Symphony, Louisville Orchestra, and Hawaii Opera Theater. Emmett is a former ensemble member of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf and the Chicago Lyric Opera’s Ryan Opera Center.
