Jelani Bell

Jelani is thrilled to be returning to the Gulf Coast Symphony this season! He last worked
with the Symphony on their 2023 production of Gypsy featuring Jodi Benson. He holds
a Bachelor of Arts in Performance from Greensboro College in North Carolina. His
favorite credits include Footloose, Singin’ in the Rain, White Christmas, and Beautiful The
Carole King Musical. Last fall, he served as Associate Director/Choreographer to Amy
McCleary while staging a production of Hairspray at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre.
He thanks his mother and father for their love and support. Let’s Go Sharks!
