Ningxin Zhan

Pianist

Sixteen-year-old NINGXIN ZHAN was born in Nanjing, China and started playing piano at the age of five. She now studies the piano with Natalia Fillipova at the Middle School affiliated to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. She wins a scholarship every year at the school. She won the 3rd place at the 8th Shenzhen International Piano Open and was a bronze prize winner of the 3rd Huanglong International Piano Competition in 2018. She likes playing the guitar and listening to music. Ningxin recently won 1st Solo Prize and 1st Concerto Prize in the 2019 Waring International Piano Competition, Intermediate Division. She also won 1st Prize for playing the best Scriabin work at the 2019 Waring.
