Reggie Whitehead

Reggie is very excited to be a part of this wonderful Gypsy cast, and thanks the Gulf Coast Symphony for inviting him to be a part of one of his all-time favorite musicals. Reggie spends his time between New York City and Miami, Florida. He is a three-time South Florida Carbonell winner, winning two Best Supporting Actor’s awards for Actor’s Playhouse’s productions of Smokey Joe’s Café and The Full Monty; and a third Carbonell for Best Choreography for a fun little show called Zombie Prom. Reggie has done several productions of the Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess, including the 75th Anniversary national tour of this historic production, playing the role of Sportin’ Life. Some of his other credits include an off-Broadway production of The Man Who Came to Dinner, numerous productions of Ain’t Misbehavin, Jesus Christ Superstar, One Man, Two Guvnors, and  Pippin.
