Lighting Designer

William has spent over 15 years building a resume in technical theatre, with a focus on Lighting Design. As a freelance designer his work has been seen Off-Broadway at the New York Theatre Workshop (The Belgrade Trilogy 2012, 2013) and at Theatre For The New City (Wifey 2019). Other NYC credits include: Songs For A New World and Psycho Beach Party. William was a finalist for the 2014 New Hampshire Theatre Award for Best Professional Lighting Design for his design of the Weathervane Theatres production of Memphis. William spent the summer of 2018 designing the Surflight Theaters (Beach Haven, NJ) summer season, which included the titles: Nice Work If You Can Get It, Jesus Christ Superstar (BWW Finalist Best Professional Lighting Design), The Wedding Singer, Saturday Night Fever (BWW Finalist Best Professional Lighting Design), Bright Star, The 39 Steps and Souvenir. After serving as the Lighting Supervisor at the Bucks County Playhouse, in New Hope PA, William relocated to Vero Beach where he runs the lighting department at Florida’s largest producing theatre, Riverside Theatre.
