Is playing in a band or orchestra something you have always wanted to do? The Gulf Coast Symphony’s New Horizons Band was started for people just like you! Even if you have never had the opportunity to play an instrument, or it it has been years since you have played in school and want to play again, our New Horizons Band is for you!

New Horizons Band provides a non-intimidating environment for you to begin, resume you playing career. It offers you the chance to play the instrument you have always wanted to learn and to progress at your own rate. 

You will find that the people who join New Horizons ]are from varied backgrounds but they all share one thing in common – their love of music. Being active in music has been shown to have very positive effects on our emotional and physical well-being. Many new friendships are formed when people join New Horizons groups. 

The Gulf Coast Symphony New Horizon’s Band meets Monday mornings at the MACC, 13411 Shire Lane, from 10am to Noon each week from November to March.
