Fort Myers Symphonic Mastersingers
Jeffrey Faux, Artistic Director
A celebration of Leonard Bernstein, on the year of what would be his 100th birthday. Writing for small ensembles, symphony orchestras, Broadway, film and opera houses, this prolific artist projected a simple message of understanding and hope employing both complex and simple forms and styles – yet always sounding like “Bernstein.” Pieces will include selections from On The Town, West Side Story, On the Waterfront, Candide, Chichester Psalms, and more!
