Broadway Resident Director, Max Quinlan, brings his musical theatre song interpretation class, “Bring You to Your Work” to Southwest Florida.
Max has served as the Resident Director for the 2014 Broadway revival of LES MISÉRABLES, Resident Director for the National Tour of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, and the Associate Director for the World Premiere of UNMASKED, by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber.
During the theatre community’s extended “intermission,” this 5-part master class series is an opportunity for actors to work and grow.

Ages 15+. This class is open to adults, high school students, professionals, amateurs or students.
Class 1: Q&A/Meet & Greet (Aug 14)
Get to know your teacher and fellow artists! This is an opportunity to have a open, safe conversation about theatre and life in the arts. Come ready to ask Max anything
Class 2: Full Song Interpretation (Aug 17)
Full Song Interpretation – Students will have the opportunity to work on a song of their own choosing with Max.
Class 3: Audition Cut (Aug 21)
Audition Cut – Student will sing a 32 bar cut audition piece of their own choosing. This can be a “go-to” audition song or a brand new piece you are looking to work on for auditions.
Class 4: Callback Material (Aug 24)
Callback Material – Max will assign each student a song to sing. After getting to know you, Max will assign each student a new song to work on and add to their repertoire.
Class 5: Work on assigned material from LES MISÉRABLES or THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (Aug 28)
Work on assigned material from LES MISÉRABLES or THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. Work with Max on material from these Hit Broadway shows, where he has served as Resident Director. Max will assign each student a song from one of these classic shows and with them on this timeless material.
