Jay Ducharme

Jay Ducharme and his wife, Courtney, live in Fort Myers full time. Jay is a Retired U.S. Air Force Colonel, former CFO of a Government Defense Contractor and Professor at the Defense Acquisition University in Washington, D.C. He currently serves as a Deputy Director in Business Development for Kellogg Brown and Root, a global provider of comprehensive solutions for aerospace and defense, energy and chemicals, intelligence and data science, and federal and civilian markets. He has invested over 35 years supporting both the Department of Defense as well as the commercial sector in multiple leadership roles. Jay consults to numerous startups supporting business planning, corporate valuations as well as strategic and financial planning.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the United States Air Force Academy, a Master of Science degree in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University, a Master of Science degree in Military Operational Art & Science from Air University, and a Master of Business Administration from Boston College. Jay is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.

The Ducharmes enjoy the symphony, theater, live music, travel, and especially spending time with their two grown daughters, friends, family, and their 12-year-old “puppy,” Brewster.
