Susan Wadsworth began her career in her hometown of Tucson Arizona, managing the contract and proposal services domain for Sunquest Information Systems, a laboratory information systems software company. Continuing her career path, Susan moved to Philadelphia PA, and held roles as Director of Finance and Administration in IT Consulting, Clinical Research Organization, and Cost Analysis Software for Manufacturing businesses. Susan then joined Pfizer Pharmaceuticals where she held various Director levels roles during her 14 years with the company. Roles included Commercial, Government and Medicaid Contracting, Finance, IT Portfolio Management, and Global SAP Deployment. After leaving Pfizer, she and her husband moved to Annapolis, MD where she became an IT consultant for Magellan Healthcare (now Molina Healthcare). Susan is currently at Molina Healthcare as IT Director, Business Relationship Management supporting the FL and MA health plans.
Susan holds a BBA in Finance, and is Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certified. To become better versed in the arts, Susan completed a series of seminars focusing on the essentials of Board Governance sponsored by Opera America. She draws upon her past knowledge, education, and ongoing experience to help lead GCS in fulfilling the next chapter of their vision.
She and her husband John had a wintered in Ft. Myers until they decided to move to Florida full time in 2015. They share a common passion for music, boating, eight grandchildren, and their beloved dog Buca.
