Marilyn Lauryn, a native Floridian, currently resides in Boca Raton, Florida. At the age of two, she won the Sunburst Beauty Pageant. Marilyn also received the Essay Award from the Boca Raton Rotary Club, as well as the Innovative Science Award from the District of Palm Beach County for her excellence in a Robotics Engineering Project that she designed. She is eleven years old and has already appeared in numerous Community Theater productions of The Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast, The Wolf and the Lamb, The Tortoise and the Hare, and performed at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in 2016. Marilyn is a Theatre Major at BAK Middle School of the Arts and has an outstanding academic record. She enjoys impersonating celebrities, playing piano, writing stories, cooking, and has an interest in opera. South Pacific marks Marilyn’s debut with the Gulf Coast Symphony. She is thrilled to be appearing in South Pacific and dedicates her performance to her parents and her 88 year old grandmother, who she adores!
