Michael Pasquini (Lighting Designer) is delighted to be returning to Gulf Coast Symphony after designing last season’s Madame Butterfly. Based in Sarasota, Michael is the assistant lighting designer and master electrician for the Sarasota Opera where he has worked since 2007. Recent designs have been seen at the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Asolo Repertory Theatre, Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe, Florida Studio Theatre, Players Centre for Performing Arts, Manatee Players, and Dog Days Theatre – a part of the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training. Designs for dance include Diane Partington Studio of Classical Ballet and the Sarasota Cuban Ballet School. A graduate of Florida State University, Michael received his Bachelor of Arts from the School of Theatre in 2006.
