This weekend we’re pleased to bring you the archival recording of our Madama Butterfly performance from April 2017!

About the Show

A beautiful, fully-staged production, co-produced by the Gulf Coast Symphony and Gulfshore Opera. Madama Butterfly tells the heartbreaking story of an innocent young geisha who gives up everything to be with an American Naval officer. Filled with Puccini’s most expansive melodies, Madama Butterfly is at the top of a very short list of most performed and best loved operas of all time.
