Ring in the new year, then rock out with us all month long!

This January, join us at the MACC (Music & Arts Community Center) for a rocking mix of award-winning performers and high-energy tributes to the best of rock, Motown, and more, as well as 2026 Grammy nominee Laila Biali with the Gulf Coast Jazz Collective, and the Southwest Florida Theatre Company’s production of the hit musical Million Dollar Quartet.

The Gulf Coast Symphony orchestra will also be at Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall twice in January for its 2026 Pops Series – starting with Decades: Back to the 80s on Jan. 11, followed by Broadway star Joshua Henry’s Get Up, Stand Up! on Jan. 25.

Jan. 7 | Lullaby for the World with Ian Maksin
7 pm at the Music & Arts Community Center

Cellist and vocalist Ian Maksin’s new album tour, Lullaby for the World, is a multilingual journey in search of peace, healing, and empowerment through music. With loop pedal and other electronics, he transforms the cello into an entire orchestra, merging timeless global traditions into an unforgettable immersive experience.

Powerhouse tenor Nathan James presents a thrilling night of rock classics, from The Beatles to Queen, his soaring vocals, dynamic stage presence, and larger-than-life energy bring timeless hits to life. 

Jan. 10 | Tito Puente Jr. & Nestor Torres
6 pm & 8:30 pm at the Music & Arts Community Center

Experience an electrifying evening of Latin jazz with Grammy-winning flautist Nestor Torres and the Tito Puente Jr. Orchestra. Blending mambo, salsa, and jazz with virtuosic melodies and fiery rhythms – dancing is encouraged!

A night of non-stop nostalgia with the Gulf Coast Symphony and three incredible vocalists performing hits by Madonna, Phil Collins, Huey Lewis & The News, Cyndi Lauper, Joe Cocker, Debbie Gibson and more.

Jan. 13 | Guitar by Candlelight with Benise & Pavlo
7 pm at the Music & Arts Community Center

A mesmerizing evening with guitar virtuosos Benise and Pavlo. Blending Spanish and Mediterranean styles, they journey from Vivaldi and Beethoven to Led Zeppelin and AC/DC. 

Jan. 15 | Grammy Nominee Laila Biali with the Gulf Coast Jazz Collective

Join the Gulf Coast Jazz Collective and 2026 Grammy nominee Laila Biali for an unforgettable night of jazz, featuring original compositions and inventive takes on classics in Biali’s genre-blending style.

Jan. 17 | Masterworks at the MACC: A Night at the Opera

Experience the opera up close and personal as Gulf Coast Symphony performs masterpieces by Mozart, Bizet, Verdi, Rossini, Saint-Saens and more. Featuring special guest vocalists.

Jan. 21 | Uptown

A celebration of Motown and soul with powerful vocals and nonstop choreography, Uptown lights up the stage with iconic hits by legendary artists like Jackie Wilson, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Spinners, Al Green, Earth Wind & Fire, Prince and Bruno Mars.

Jan. 24 | That 70s Rock Show

Travel back to one of the greatest decades in rock history, with hits from Eagles, Journey, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, The Doobie Brothers, Aerosmith, and more.

Jan. 25 | Joshua Henry’s Get Up, Stand Up!

Three-time Tony award nominee Joshua Henry’s Get Up, Stand Up! pays tribute to the timeless spirit of R&B, funk, soul, and rock’n’roll, with unforgettable renditions of classics by Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Nina Simone, Sam Cooke, John Legend, Bruno Mars, and more, as well as selections from his Tony-nominated Broadway roles – backed by the full Gulf Coast Symphony!

Jan. 28 – Feb. 14 | Million Dollar Quartet
Music & Arts Community Center

A fictionalized retelling of when Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins happened to be visiting the same Memphis recording studio on the same day in 1956. Their impromptu jam session inspired this lively jukebox musical, which includes favorites like “Great Balls of Fire,” “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” and “Hound Dog.”
