On Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 6 and 8:30 p.m., the Music & Arts Community Center (MACC) presents Uptown, a high-energy celebration of Motown, soul, funk and R&B.
Fusing Bruno Mars-caliber stage presence with top-tier vocals and wall-to-wall choreography, the men of Uptown perform iconic hits from yesterday and today in a unique modern show that gets every crowd on their feet.
Every member of Uptown is a world-class soloist, and with the backing of a full band, this talented group lights up the stage with iconic hits by legendary artists, including Jackie Wilson, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Spinners, Al Green, Earth Wind & Fire, Prince and, of course, Bruno Mars.
