SWFL Theatre Company & Gulf Coast Symphony musical auditions to be held May 31 at the MACC

The Southwest Florida Theatre Company and Gulf Coast Symphony will be hosting open auditions for the 2026-27 musical theater season on Sunday, May 31, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Music & Arts Community Center in Fort Myers. 

Southwest Florida Theatre Company (SWFLTC) will be producing three musicals at the Music & Arts Community Center (MACC) this season: Ring of Fire, Ghost, and a third show to be announced at a later dateThis will be the sixth season of professional musical theatre produced at the MACC. All productions will take place in 2027, and each SWFLTC production encompasses a two-week, ten-hour day schedule, which includes weekly daytime matinee performances.

Gulf Coast Symphony will be producing My Fair Lady, its eleventh annual musical at the Barbara B Mann Performing Arts Hall, featuring the full Gulf Coast Symphony and local artists alongside veteran Broadway performers. The production will take place on April 17 and 18, 2027.

Auditions for these four musicals will be held at the Music & Arts Community Center, located at 13411 Shire Lane in Fort Myers, Fla., off Daniels Parkway, on Sunday, May 31, 4 – 8 p.m.
