Tito Puente Jr. & Nestor Torres return to the MACC Jan. 20

November 1, 2026

Get ready for an exhilarating celebration of Afro-Cuban jazz as Tito Puente Jr. & Nestor Torres return to the Music & Arts Community Center on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2027, for two exciting concerts – a 2 p.m. matinee and a 7 p.m. evening show.

Carrying forward one of the most celebrated musical legacies in Latin music, Tito Puente Jr. honors the extraordinary contributions of his father, the legendary bandleader and percussionist Tito Puente, widely known as the “King of Latin Music.” With the Tito Puente Jr. Orchestra, he brings the timeless sounds of mambo, salsa and Afro-Cuban jazz to a new generation, performing iconic selections from his father’s repertoire alongside original compositions.

Joining him is Grammy Award-winning Nestor Torres, one of the world’s most accomplished jazz flautists, celebrated for his distinctive sound, expressive playing, improvisational brilliance, and his ability to seamlessly blend Afro-Cuban jazz, pop and classical influences, earning him international acclaim and collaborations with some of the most respected musicians in the industry.
