Doug, Alex & Sean Cameron
With ten CD’s to his credit, Virgin Records recording artist Doug Cameron has been a favorite on radio internationally. As an in demand studio musician/arranger/producer from the LA studio scene, Cameron has also recorded and performed with a wide range of artists, from Tom Petty, Gregg Allman, Sammy Davis Jr. Cher, George Benson, Kansas, Dionne Warwick and renowned producer David Foster among others. He has toured internationally with his group and his dynamic symphony program features all of his own unique signature arrangements. Although he is primarily know as a jazz artist, his dynamic, high-energy performance includes a wide variety of music. Also an educator, Doug has two instructional series out for the violin. A lover of Latin music, Cameron has been making trips to Cuba to teach and perform, and recently was invited to play the famed Havana Jazz Festival as one of only two American acts. Doug’s two young sons, Alex age 13 and Sean age 11 often perform with him have wowed audiences with their out of the box talents. They have won numerous competitions, and Alex recently won the “rising star” award at the prestigious Prescott Concerto Competition. Alex was also selected to perform with famed violinist Itzak Perlman as part of the Super Strings Program in Sarasota, Florida. Alex’s version of Drake’s mega hit, “God’s Plan”, and his video filmed in New York depicting Alex busking for money all over the city and giving the money to homeless people he encounters has made a tremendous impact on Youtube and Facebook.
