Doug Reed
Music Director
Doug Reed has done many shows over many years. He thinks he loved them all!
Highlights include being Associate Music Director to Don Pippin (original Music Supervisor of Jerry’s Girls) at Radio City Music Hall, working on several Broadway-bound flops-to-be, and subbing on Broadway as a conductor or keyboard player for 42nd Street (original production) and A Chorus Line, among a few others. He played and conducted Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom in Switzerland, Fosse in Europe, and The Lion King all over North America. He has conducted a few operas in full university productions, loves playing for great singers (Hello, Jerry’s Girls!), and got to hang a bit with Angela Lansbury on a Mame tour way way back. Doug has had the pleasure of working with Andrew Kurtz on a few productions, and is delighted to be doing it again!
