Dr. Catherine Lan
Dr. Catherine Lan has performed in Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Canada, Mexico, France, United Kingdom, Slovenia, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Hungary, and the USA in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York and Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge. As a soloist, Catherine has performed with orchestras including Milwaukee Symphony, Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, British-Columbia Chamber, Fifth Avenue Chamber, Vancouver Symphony, Broward Symphony, Palm Beach Atlantic Symphony, and Edmonton Symphony.
She is the pianist at Duo Beaux Arts (a Steinway Ensemble), Duo Formosa, Duo Arpeggione, Atlantic Piano Trio, Delray Piano Trio, and Tallinn Piano Trio, as well as Beaux Arts Chamber Ensemble and Chrysalis Chamber Players. Her performances have been featured on CBC Radio Debut Series, Maine Public Radio/TV, and World Journal New York. Having earned degrees from University of British-Columbia, Indiana University (Bloomington), and University of Miami, Dr. Lan serves as the Director of Chamber Music Series of South Florida Symphony. Season highlight includes concerto appearance with Florence Symphony Orchestra, and debut recitals in Madrid (Spain) and Dubai (U.A.E.). Dr. Lan records for Centaur Records.
