Gina Birch

An actual Florida native Gina Birch made her Southwest Florida radio debut in the 90’s and over the next two (plus) decades she received numerous awards and accolades. She also developed several television features and often appeared on set for entertainment and lifestyle segments.

Having a degree in broadcast journalism, Gina has always loved sharing stories about people and places, whether it’s over the airways or in print. She is a contributing writer for numerous local and regional publications as well as USA Today10Best. She primarily writes about subjects she is passionate about such as food, wine and travel. In addition, she co-hosts the wine centric podcast, Grape Minds. She is very active in philanthropy, volunteering for numerous organizations, emceeing and hosting special events, and more.

Gina is known for her welcoming nature, her witty banter, being a champion of the underdogs and for viewing life as one big party, with lots of fabulous shoes and accessories.

She has a deep love of radio, of community, of Southwest Florida, and after taking time to focus on writing, travel, and family, she is ecstatic to return to the airwaves and reconnect with both longtime and new listeners. She is especially excited to be joining the talented team of air personalities at Sunny 106.3.
