I started my journey in life in Mount Shasta California where my parents owned a small theatre company. My younger brother and I spent most of our time outside; rock climbing, horseback riding, hiking, and getting into as much trouble and dirt a 7 year old girl can get into. We moved to PA when I was 7 where my mother was the resident Production Stage Manager at Bristol Riverside Theatre. During this time I did not have much access to the arts myself, so naturally I got really into Softball and Cheerleading. When I was 10 years old we moved to Fort Myers Florida where I would do much of my growing up. My mother, now the resident SM at Florida Repertory Theatre, my dad now teaching in the area, and my brother and I at an Arts Magnet School. I had the privilege to take dance, and chorus, and band, and theatre classes during my time there. (And not to brag, but I made an incredible 7th grade Hermia in Midsummer). The Florida Repertory Theatre in Fort Myers Florida has an incredible education program, where I was lucky enough to be in shows like Spring Awakening, Metamorphoses, Heathers, Newsies, and Romeo & Juliet. My Sophomore year of high school I started directing and found a deep passion in that world. I have been lucky enough to be a part of some incredible projects such as A Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime (Asst. Director), Uncle Vanya (Asst. Director), Dry Land (Director), Radium Girls (Director), Seussical (Choreographer). In college at Marymount Manhattan College I was very active in the community, attended every show possible, built the sets for shows my Sophomore and Junior year, started my own student run theatre company on campus where we have produced 6 full length published plays in 2 years such as The Pillowman, The Wolves, and Four Dogs and A Bone, I was also had the prviledge to direct both Dry Land by Ruby Rae Spiegel and A Midsummer Night’s Dream with the company.
I could not be more thrilled to graduate and take on the world with the spirit of 7 year old me getting into as much dirt and trouble as possible!
