Samuel Robertson

Samuel Robertson is a rising star tenor, from a Scottish family in North Carolina. He completed a Masters of Music and Literature at the famed Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. Straight out of Eastman he moved to Vienna Austria, and since then has performed on stages across Europe including the Vienna State Opera, Opera Leipzig and, most recently, State Oper Varna, Bulgaria, where he sang Ernesto in Donizetti’s Don Pasquale. During  his Bachelor studies at Samford University, in Birmingham, Alabama, Samuel sang Scott Fitzgerald in the world premiere of The Ghosts of Gatsby by Evan Mack and Joshua McGuire. Upcoming performances include Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore, the Duke in Donizetti’s Francesca di Foix, both in Carinthia, Austria, and he returns to Varna, Bulgaria to sing an Opera Gala to open their annual summer opera festival.
