Jazzmeia Horn

Jazzmeia Horn is an acclaimed jazz vocalist, composer, and bandleader whose career rose rapidly after winning the 2013 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition and the prestigious 2015 Thelonious Monk Institute International Jazz Competition.

Her albums A Social Call, Love & Liberation, and Dear Love have earned her three Grammy nominations (2018, 2020, 2022), further establishing Horn as one of the leading contemporary young voices in jazz.

Love & Liberation also won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Jazz Album in 2020, and Horn has also received a DownBeat Critics Poll Rising Star award and the Jazz Journalists Association’s Up and Coming Musician of the Year honor.
