Living Jazz: Music from New York City

The Gulf Coast Jazz Collective will be performing music from the greatest living composers from New York City, the world’s epicenter of Jazz. As Jazz continues to grow and evolve throughout the country and around the world, the best music keeps coming from the musicians of New York City and we want to bring that sound to Fort Myers, Florida. New York Jazz is energetic, colorful, and full of innovation. Not only are these musicians at the very top of the current Jazz sound, they’re also some of Paul, Zach, and Brandon’s biggest influences. You’ll hear music from Wynton Marsalis, Avishai Cohen, Christian McBride, Brad Meldhau, Nate Smith, Pat Metheny and more.
