Laura Wilson

House Manager, MACC

After 38 years of dedicated teaching in public school classrooms (Northwest Indiana) and 11 very busy years helping raise 3 grandchildren (Maryland), Laura is loving resort-style living in Heritage Palms and also enjoying working Front of House for two SWFL music/theater/arts venues. For the Gulf Coast Symphony, Laura’s job involves coordinating and scheduling volunteer ushers and managing Front of House duties for the almost nightly performances at the MACC. In her now limited free time, she very often can be found playing and teaching MahJongg in HP. Laura’s favorite “past life” adventures include: 20+ years (1989-2010) organizing group travel to 8 countries in Central Europe; 8 years (2012-2020) volunteer ushering for Broadway in Baltimore at the historic Hippodrome and at Olney Theatre Center near DC; and the number one favorite, spending very special Gramma time with James(12), Ella(9), and Clara(4).
