Gulf Coast Jazz Collective kicks off its spectacular Summer Jazz series at the Music & Arts Community Center with Saxophone Colossus: A Tribute to Sonny Rollins, Thursday, May 21, at 7 p.m.

The Gulf Coast Jazz Collective, joined by a featured guest tenor saxophonist, honors Sonny Rollins, the “Saxophone Colossus,” with a tribute as bold and swinging as the man himself, bringing Rollins’ hard bop mastery roaring back to life.
