Margaret Nichols

Margaret Nichols, a veteran orchestral violinist, is proud to be a member of the Gulf Coast Symphony.  While living in the Boston area and pursuing her career at Delta Air Lines, she was a playing member of the Boston Civic Symphony, Lexington Symphony, Wellesley Symphony and also served a long tenure as principal second of the Concord Orchestra.  She earned BM and MS degrees in music from Pittsburg State University (KS) and studied violin with Roman Totenberg in Boston.  As a chamber musician, she is a frequent participant in the Bennington Chamber Music Conference held annually at Bennington College in Vermont. She and her husband, Henry Marcucella, are seasonal residents of Fort Myers. Margaret is also the proud mother of Anthony and Joseph Nichols.
