Luther Chakurian is an actor who currently resides in Houston, Texas.  He is thrilled to be joining the cast of “Next to Normal” with  The Gulf Coast Symphony. Some of his favorite roles include: Sunday in the Park with George (George),  Man of La Mancha (Don Quixote),  Dirty Rotten Scoundrels(Lawrence Jameson), and the title role in Sweeny Todd for which he was awarded Best Actor in Houston 2007 by the Houston Press.
